Become Communications was founded in 2017 by Lisa Pantelli, an award-winning internal communications and employee engagement specialist.

Having spent almost a decade working in PR and corporate communications, as social media evolved, it became apparent very quickly through the work that I was doing that employers were failing to recognise just how important employees were to their brand and reputation.

I had also worked for managers who have greatly inspired me – and for whom I have worked hard and delivered significant results.  And other managers, who have disengaged and failed to get the best out of me resulting in either looking for other opportunities or not adding as much value as I could have done.

I’m sure many managers and employees can associate with this.

It was while working for one of my most influential bosses that I had the opportunity to bring together aspects of my work that I love – communications and people. Setting up my own consultancy has always been an ambition of mine and I am genuinely passionate about creating great places to work and happier employees.

I set-up Become Communications to help businesses get the best of their employees by focusing on the areas which really matter. It’s no longer sufficient to assume that we know what drives people or what the issues might be. Solutions for these will be short-term. Getting to the heart of the issue and dealing with it there will ultimately result in long-term, positive change and an overall more profitable, happier and better business.
